The weekly update - Hay Fever

The Weekly Update - Hay Fever

Spring is sprung. For some people it is joy, for some it is sorrow. The rising temperature is not nice for everybody and for some people this brings even more pain and discomfort because all the trees and bushes come back into life and start to flower.

Yes, it is Hay Fever season again. Don't get desperate, Homoeopathy is here to help you and to ease your suffering. Over the years of practising Homoeopathy I have noticed that many of my patients didn't come back in spring because on top of their acute treatment for Hay Fever their susceptibility for the allergy dropped as well because they had constitutional treatment as well.

So what can I do to help you? The remedy subscribed would depend on the symptoms. People who suffer a lot with streaming tears and runny noses can be helped with the homoeopathic remedy Allium Cepa, the homoeopathic preparation of the onion. Some people suffer intolerable itching of the mouth, nose and eyes. There are various homoeopathic remedies which could be appropriate, one of the is Sabadilla. the homoeopathic preparation of the Cevadilla seed, another one is Wyethia, the homoeopathic preparation of the poison weed.

There are lot more remedies which could help you, depending on your symptoms and if you feel better indoors or outdoors. There are combination remedies available in some health food stores, and they seem to work fine because they cover a wide range of symptoms, so they would hit yours as well. The problem with combination remedies is, that they might only work for one year and the next year, when you think that you might have found something which works for you, they don't do anything anymore.

So the best thing would be to see a qualified Homoeopath to treat your acute symptoms now and then have a proper constitutional treatment so that those nasty Hay Fever symptoms never return.
