The Other Side Of The Story
We are all concerned about the current situation and nobody knows when life will be back to normal again. We are afraid of catching the virus and every scratch in the throat frightens us, particularly now that the hay fever season starts to come into its full bloom. The question will be: "Do I have hay fever or is this the start of something more severe?" So we stay safe and keep our distance when we have to leave the safety of our homes.
But home is not always a safe place particularly if we stay in close proximity with people we share our life with, but not 24/7, and with no distraction and no way out when it gets too much. Not everybody has the physical space to take themselves out of the situation. The level of frustration is high, and people might run out of ideas what to do with their spare time.
Talking to a police officer there was a report of not very much crime going on at the moment, but the calls out to domestic violence where high. Higher than normal. This is frightening and a side of the current situation which should not be over looked.
I often deal with domestic violence in my practice but usually I see the victims of it, so they may survive. What I do not see, is the initiator of the violence which is always sad and a missed opportunity. It is not only the victim who needs support and can be helped to get over the traumatic incidents, the initiator can be helped as well. Homoeopathy is well equipped to help people who cannot control their temper, who lose control or are just helpless and overwhelmed in situations where only the use of fists is their answer to problems. But this is not where the use of Homoeopathy ends. It is a very individual medicine with over 3500 homoeopathic remedies which can help with almost every state of mind. So if you want some help please contact me on 07813 195468. Due to the current situation I can only do virtual consultations at the moment.
