Stick with it

Patients Is A Virtue

A lot of people ask me how long a course of treatment would take before they come to see me. You see, this is a difficult question to answer. How long is a piece of string?

A lot of people consider Homoeopathy as the last resort after they tried everything else. So they come to see me after other treatments failed to help them. That is when they give Homoeopathy a try.

Ideally, the best thing would be to incorporate Homoeopathy from birth for the rest of your life. If you missed this opportunity, as I have done, and come to Homoeopathy for an acute or even chronic health problem, the rule is generally that you would need to give Homoeopathy the same length of time as you have been ill for. So it is not realistic to have been ill for decades and the expect Homoeopathy to help you in a couple of weeks. You most definitely will not be well again after the first remedy, or this would be a miracle. So don't be disappointed when it doesn't work like that and don't walk away saying that Homoeopathy doesn't work. If Homoeopathy doesn't work I have not found the right remedy for you for various reasons. You might have forgotten something or did not tell me everything because you thought that it didn't matter, and of course there might be faults on my part. Sometimes the changes to your health might have been so subtle that you did not recognize them. There might be less pain or you are sleeping better but did not notice until I asked you.

So, how long do you need treatment? That depends on what you are suffering from, how you experience it and what you want to achieve. It is also important to know if you suffered a lot of suppression and what your family have had suffered from. Homoeopathy is a very individual medicine so your reaction to the homoeopathic remedy is individual as well and it is also important for the length of treatment HOW you react to the medicine.

Homoeopathy is also a medicine that can go a lot deeper. You might come to me with something that looks acute but is in fact a flare up of something you've had for a long time on and off. So getting a cold with every change of weather is not an acute problem because it means that you have an underlying problem with your immune system. If you suffer from hay fever I can help you immediately with your symptoms but I would advise you to consider constitutional treatment at the beginning of the year. Be prepared to see me for years. This doesn't mean that you have to stand on my mat every week, or even every month.

The best thing would be to incorporate Homoeopathy into your life because it can help you going through difficult times. My advice it to stick with this wonderful natural kind of medicine.
