New year - new cold

In The Bleak Midwinter!

I know it is not really cold but still, it is unpleasant because when it is wet it feels a lot colder. With all the rain we have it is really unpleasant but there are still flowers  blossoming in the bleak midwinter and the name of one flower is Jasmin. The homoeopathic remedy Gelsemium is made out of this flower and isn't it strange that this remedy is particularly good against colds?

Being one of the homoeopathic polycrests, which means that it is a remedy with a very wide range of action, it can do more than just relieve the symptoms of a cold. It is also good against left sided headaches where indicated and anticipation anxiety in certain cases. It is also a good grief remedy, particularly when the loss was one of a young child.

I love this remedy and I use it quite a lot. If you want to know a bit more, contact me on 07813 195468. Please remember that I have studied 5 years with the British School of Homoeopathy and I'm still learning, so self prescribing has its limitations in Homoeopathy.

There are a lot more Homoeopathic remedies which can help you to cope with colds and coughs, Gelsemium just being one of them. It only helps if indicated. Don't forget that.
