Pick The Poppies
Have you ever picked poppies? I can remember that I once picked poppies to add to a wonderful bunch of wild flowers I wanted to present to my mother. How sad I was when the little, papery, bright red petals fell off shortly after I added them to the bunch. It made me very sad.
There is another thing which still makes me very sad. This year 100 years ago ended the war that should make an end to all wars. So many people were suffering and the ones that suffered most were millions of young men. Not only did they their lives get cut short by this cruel war, they had to endure an immense amount of suffering in the battlefields and trenches.
This war that ended 100 years ago left the whole world in a state of grief.
Is it just a coincidence that the milky "juice" of poppies is one of the most powerful grief remedies in Homoeopathy? It is particularly suited for states of suspended grief where the person is stuck in the state of grief and cannot move forwards.
Another grief remedy which helps with a lot of other problems as well is the homoeopathic remedy made out of table salt, Natrum muriaticum.
For states of grief where a person lost a much loved person is Cygnus Cygnus.
Ignatia, is called the "funeral remedy" because it is for states of acute grief.
Please don't forget that Homoeopathy is a very individual medicine, so no bill fits all and please let me know if you need any help at my individual consultation.
