Do you call this a weed?
Another Visitor
Last time I wrote about the lovely little flower I like so much, the Speedwell Germander with its lovely sky blue colour.
There is another "weed" which I love very much and which took root just outside my kitchen window to my great delight. It is Dulcamara or the bittersweet Nightshade. I just love it when the little purple flowers peep into my kitchen. It makes the washing up more pleasant.
It is not only a beautiful little climber which reappears every year, it is also an important homoeopathic medicine. This remedy is indicated for conditions which are worse from cold and damp. It help when people have trouble with air conditioning on hot days or are worse from the exposure to air conditioning. This remedy is also very good when people get hay fever symptoms after they were exposed to freshly mown grass. It is used for hay fever generally were indicated and I have used it successfully in a lot of hay fever cases.
