The future

Forward Into The Past

My mother used to say that everything will come back again at some point and I think she was right. Vintage clothes are very much in fashion, the older the better, and to be honest, you cannot get the quality nowadays whatever you are willing to pay. Also we started to take our own containers to the shops like it was practiced before the 2nd World War. The old ways are sometimes the best. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against progress. It is a good thing but you can only progress so far. We, as humans, have achieved so much over the last 50 years. We are no stranger to space. Technology makes almost everything possible, and we seem to be able to do so much in human engineering and medicine. Nobody dies of septicemia anymore, or do they?

Well, I think that is where progress went too far. The overuse of antibiotics makes microbes resistant to a wide range of them. This is not just what you take when you want to get rid of an infection. Antibiotics are also in the water from the run- off from fields where cattle are grazing because they get fed antibiotics regularly to keep them healthy and increase their appetite. Somewhere I've heard that one meal with meat can increase your resistance to up to 3 strains of bacteria. So when you do really need antibiotics they would not work anymore. There is a lot of fear around about superbugs and with good reason.

So in Bavaria the local government invested in a study to investigate if Homoeopathy and other alternative therapies can reduce the need for antibiotics so that they still work when you really need them, or even better, not need them in the first place.

I'm already working with people who are resistant to the old antibiotics and allergic to the new generation of them. Homoeopathy is a great alternative and helps to support the immune system in a natural way. By using Homoeopathy you might make sure that you would need fewer antibiotics and therefore they might work when you really do need them. And again, Homoeopathy has been helping people for over 200 years now, old methods are sometimes the best. If you want to know a bit more about Homoeopathy and how it could help you with all your health issues, give me a ring on 07813 195468.
