A walk in the meadow
The Force Of Nature
You might have seen this wonderful plant on your recent walk, blooming in the undergrowth, its dark green leaves slightly hairy, the color of the flowers vary from white to dark purple and everything in between. The flowers are a joy for bees and you can hear them buzzing around when ever the flowers are open. In spring the leaves make a good plant feed when soaked in water for 4 weeks. I'm talking about Comfrey, the plant which is also known as knit-bone.
It has been used as a herbal remedy for centuries and it is a very effective homoeopathic remedy, called here Symphytum officinalis, as well. As the name suggests, it is a bone remedy. It is usually used to speed up the healing of bones but can also be used for bruised, sprained or inflamed bones where symptoms fit. So if you have any trouble with broken bones which would not heal, caries of the spine, decay of vertebrae or pain in the back from a fall, this might be the remedy which could help you.
Don't forget that Homoeopathy is a very individual medicine which takes the whole person into account and that therefore self medication might not be advised. Contact me on 07813 195468 if you need any help. I have been a Homoeopath for 13 years now and have been training with the British School of Homoeopathy for 5 years before going into practice. But this is not where my learning ends, I constantly keep up with books, magazines, Podcasts, Webinars and hope that I will be able to attend Seminars again after the lock down as well.
