The Eye, Well, Not In The Sky

I had technical problems last week. It was nothing to worry about, first. My webcam was not working properly. When I turned it on it was displaying a picture which lasted some minutes and then it disappeared into darkness only to reappear as a barcode. I tried everything to reconnect with the webcam and was successful at first. Go to settings, find cam, take picture, job done, picture there. Till the next time, when it was on again and after a few minutes... nothing. I spent two days clearing caches, pushing buttons I had no idea what they where doing and changing settings to nobody knows what. In the end nothing worked and I became more desperate because my next online consultation was looming. I already had to do one without a webcam and that was not good. So in my desperation I contacted one of my sons-in-law and showed him the picture my webcam was displaying. He took ONE look and said: "You webcam is knackered." That was it. I spent two days, and he took one look. You can tell that I'm not a techy. 

It would have been so much easier if I could have used Homoeopathy on my webcam. Nearly dead? Well, Carbo-veg might help. 

Instead I had to take the medicine myself because I was so frightened. In my despair to reconnect the webcam I cleared all my accounts of my computer and then I had to put them on again. I also thought that I lost my Blog, but with a dose of Arsenicum I stayed calm and contacted the right person to help me, my good friend. In the end everything worked out all right, even though I could not use Homoeopathy on my technology.
