In times like this
The Grief
The nation is mourning. Times of grief take their toll on you even if you do not feel the full impact of the blow of losing someone dear. The grief is all around us, it is in the air.
Queen Elisabeth II was the monarch of Great Britain all my life and I was hoping that she would carry on much longer. I cried when I heard of her passing away on the radio after returning from Germany in the evening of Thursday, 8th of September.
Homoeopathy helped me in my grief. There are different remedies for different causes of grief, and of course there is Ignatia as the first aid remedy when grief comes upon you. We Homoeopaths also call it the "funeral remedy" and it helped a lot when my mother died. Oak is a good substitute when Ignatia is not indicated or fails to act.
There is Gelsemium for losing a young child, or Cygnet when losing a beloved spouse. Alumina phos. removes the chronic affects of grief, and Natrum-muriaticum is for long lasting grief. There are a few more to chose from depending on the symptoms and the state of mind. As Homoeopathy is a very individual medicine, the remedy which fits YOUR symptoms and feelings has to be found. That I what I'm here for.
There is no more to say apart from R.I.P. and "Thank you".
