A fragrant friend

A Fragrant Friend

This little friend is hardly noticeable and you might find it in a meadow, but most of the time close to the shore. Even though it is just a tiny plant, there is a lot of goodness inside. I'm talking about wild rosemary.

As the homoeopathic remedy Ledum palustre it is the first aid remedy for puncture wounds which may be produced by sharp pointed implements or bites, animal bites or insect stings. The keynote here is that the wounded part is cold to the touch even though the wounded person feels that it is warm or even hot. The ability to help with puncture wound makes this remedy ideal if there is pain after you have been given an injection at the dentist. Furthermore it can help with rheumatism where it begins in the feet and travels upwards because Ledum also has an affinity for the fibrous tissues of the joints. It also helps with "black eyes" from a blow when the eye has started to go black already.

I want to stress again that in Homoeopathy we treat people not diseases so the keynotes of the remedy have to fit the patient. So if you want to know a bit more about Homoeopathy and how it can help you, give me a call on 07813 195468.
